Does anyone want the ownership of this community? I am too busy to properly take care of it. Thanks.
So, it looks like Nicole Richie's finally trying to gain some weight. I found a rather interresting article on TMZ:"Nicole Richie Sheds Her StylistIt looks like spring came early for Nicole Richie, who has been doing some house cleaning. The stick-thin "Simple Life" star fired stylist Rachel Zoe because she "wanted to surround herself with positive people and influences," a source tells US. Apparently, Richie feels Zoe, whose clients also include waifs Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan, has a knack for promoting unhealthy body images. Nicole has replaced her with Cristina Ehrlich, who has dressed Jessica Biel and Penelope Cruz."Her other clients include:Mischa BartonParis HiltonKeira Knightleyand, according to http://observer.guardian.co.uk/magazine/story/0,,1819592,00.html, she is friends with Mary-Kate Olsonit's also rumored that she deals drugs to her clientsfurther reading:http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2088-2372051,00.htmlhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Zoe
anyone know who that model is and if she's still alive?! she keeps popping up on anti and pro-ana sites (it says "gross" because I got it off an anti ana one XP, and was too lazy to go back and find a better picture)

So lately it's become somewhat of a trend for actresses to have babies, then loose all the extra weight very quickly. the latest example is Katie Holms:http://www.tmz.com/2006/10/03/source-tom-very-concerned-about-katies-bod/and a recent picture of her suggests this is true (especailly consitering her very anorexic companion, Victoria Beckham), look at her cheeks:Other actresses who shed pounds very quickly incluse Angelina Jo Lee, Gwennyth Paltrow, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Uma Therman, and Kate Hudson. Suprisingly, Liv Tyler refused to go on a diet or work out immediately after giving birth, http://www.starpulse.com/news/index.php/2006/09/13/losing_baby_weight_immediately_wasn_t_esthere are otehr sources, but that one's short and sweetAny thoughts about this or about what to do about it?
If you have Myspace, let this site know how you feel about models like this (NOT A WORK SAFE IMAGE).http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=160215&imageID=1244171957&MyToken=d21a8501-3e76-46b3-94ad-4fd40c33b6b8
Well, since I'm highly opinionated, I'm going to talk about the weight restrictions in the Madrid fashion show. The government in Spain, citing young girls who look up to these models as a reason, refused to let any model who had a BMI reading of less than 18 model in the show. Deigners have gotten really pissed, citing that it's silly and that they are exercising creative freedom. I ask you, if they're so creatively free, why do they all use models with the same body type, and have been doing so for the past 40 years? Many even claim to be naturally or genetically thin. This may be true in a few scenarios, especially since agencies like to recruit girls who have been starved in childhood, thus making them super skinny for the rest of their life, hence the rise in models from Africa, Russia, and the eastern block. http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/09/13/spain.models/index.htmland there has been a backlash in the London fashion shows:http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/europe/09/19/london.fashion.ap/index.html

This community is here for those of us who have had enough of this disgusting trend of "pro-ana" sites and mentality that pushed on us by the media and society around us. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH. We are here to discuss putting a stop to this madness and the culture that causes it.
